Thanks to all FunDance Fitness supporters old and new! We need you to come to our classes and invite your friends. We know that some of you do this already. We need more commitment. And guess what? You need us too. We will help you lose weight, maintain your weight, relax, smile, learn new dances, meet new people, have a great time at a great price with a great staff. So, with all that said…where y’all at?

Such is the life of an entrepreneur. Late nights come with the job. So…the drive to the studio took three hours instead of 45 minutes, but we were open. We had our first real snow day here in Chicago. It lasted several hours and left several inches. I’m still wondering who is going to shovel the snow in front of my house. We were troopers though and still held class at FunDance Fitness. Our line dance teacher walked from 87th and the Dan Ryan to our studio at 87th and East End. We are here for you! Keep that in mind when you’re wrestling with the decision of whether or not to come to class. Come! Get out of the house. Don’t let the snow stop you. We’re in Chicago. We should be used to the snow and cold. We got a little spoiled by the fall like weather that we had in December and early January. Well…looks like that’s over. All you need to do is bundle up and head on over to class. We’ll be waiting.
It was nice to have fall weather during winter, but looks like that’s over. It’s back to cold, snow and slush. We’re in Chicago and that’s just how it is. We can’t let the weather stop us from doing what we need to do. Put on your coats, hats, gloves, boots and layer underneath. Then, get over to FunDance Fitness. If you made a resolution to lose weight, get started. If you decided this is going to be your year to get fit, we’re here to help. If you want to keep off the pounds that you’ve already lost, sign up for classes. We’re here for you!
It’s 2012 and time to get started on your resolutions for this year! If you’ve decided to make this the year to lose weight, maintain your weight loss, drop a size, exercise more, get fit, or anything like it, then FunDance Fitness is the place to be. We have a variety of classes, so you should be able to find something that enjoy. We want you to have a good time reaching your goals. Come check us out.
The family is together, listening to Christmas music and enjoying spending time together. It’s funny how friends and family blend so that you don’t know who was born into the family and who came by invitation. Gifts are exchanged, some big and some small, some expensive, some bought with just a few dollars. Children smile and play with their new toys, left by Santa, or their parents, depending on age and beliefs. Adults eat, drink, laugh and reminisce about years past. For us, it’s usually a great day. For those of you who may be having a blue Christmas, you’re alive. That’s a good thing. Breathe, relax and be thankful. Phone a friend, catch a movie, make a plan to improve your situation next Christmas. Then, carry out your plan.
This year, FunDance Fitness participated in the Sister Bag Project by agreeing to be the drop off location for bags going to women in shelters. We were happy to participate in this worthy cause. It was a great way to get into the holiday spirit of giving.
We look forward to participating again next year. Enjoy your Christmas! We hope to see you soon in class.
Hello! Are you there? If you are, say hey, I’m here! Anyway, Christmas is coming rather quickly and so is the new year. Hopefully, we will get new customers very soon, with new year’s resolutions and all. People will be ready to get in shape and we are ready for them. We’re very excited about our new classes and new teachers. We have so much to offer on the southeast side! Right in the neighborhood. There’s no need to venture out of your backyard when we’ve got so many classes right on 87th Street. We just need our neighbors and potential customers to realize that. So… please help us spread the word. And remember, if you’re out there, please let us know!
I found out that my blog has been read by someone. Yay! Hooray! Yipee! So…guess I’ll talk about what’s been going on at FunDance Fitness. We started last week with new classes and new instructors. Kenn, our new African dance teacher has been dubbed Drill Sergeant. He kicks BUTT! You have no choice but to go home and go to sleep after his class. Check him out if you want to work on your abs and endure a high impact fitness class. Jerome started teaching Steppin last Thursday. Great personality. Everyone looked like they were having a good time. Saturday brought Healthy Holiday Eating and Terisa Hammond. Some people are probably thinking…why should we eat healthy foods during the holiday. Well…that’s what the workshop was about. She had food samples which I enjoyed. I can’t say the same for my sister. Anyway, I’m still waiting for classes to fill up. Where is everybody? Maybe they’re coming in 2012.
